  2. You think I waited til the end to grab the tissues??? Honey, your blog and Kleenex go hand in hand! (I mean that in the best way!) I love a good cry!

Rebekah is beautiful. They’re all beautiful. God’s medicine is always precise. Go get this book published already!!

(I’d be interested sometime to read a bit of your husband’s thoughts and feelings through all this…at least from your perspective.)

    Bless you!

  3. What a post, Sandy.

My goodness. Your words just penetrated my heart tonight – and they needed to. You have reminded me to be so thankful for what God has so graciously blessed me with.

Thanks so much for sharing your life with us.

I’m real thankful for you and your blog 🙂

    Hugs,
    Kate 🙂

  4. Each part in this series just gets more and more amazing and inspiring! The words that grabbed my heart this time were “you need to make these type of life-altering decisions independent of the opinion of others who have no idea what it is like to experience the same storm. You need not worry about making the wrong decision. Just focus on staying close to Jesus.” This is what I felt in my heart for a certain storm I am moving through, but it is so encouraging to hear(read) someone else confirming the same idea. I am touched beyond words once again….

  5. I always love reading your posts, but the two parts in bold just have me bawling today.

Thank you for the affirmation I needed, and for being one of the “tools” God is using to mend my broken heart.

    Love you!

  6. Sis this absolutely touched my heart!!!! Your kids are so adorable and your testimony of how your daughter was used by God to heal your heart is beautiful!

You have a story that needs to be placed into the hands of MANY who need to hear/read and receive so they can TRUST IN GOD and walk in His grace and healing.

    Love you.

  7. Dear Sandy,

This was just beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. (thanks for being so real and honest).

I’m so sorry for the loss of your son, I know that is something you will never “get over”. God had a special plan for his life, and one day you’ll be with him again!

I’m just so blessed God blessed you with these other amazing children.

We do serve a mighty God and He can and will heal our broken hearts.

He is truly the closest to those whose heart is broken.

I rejoice with you for all He is doing and how He is using your testimony to bring glory and honor to Him.

    I’m so glad I stopped by today♥

  8. Another moving and encouraging post Sandy. Thank you for sharing all the practical ways in which God brought healing to your wounded heart, especially through the arrival of your daughter and other kids.

A lot of people think healing is spiritual only, but they forget that we are flesh and blood, something God is very conscious off. God told a leper to wash in a river seven times, Jesus put mud on a blind man’s eyes – God uses practical, everyday things to help inspire our faith.

    God bless.

  9. I am grateful to Peter from (cornerstonethefoundation blogspot) to leave me your link.

The grief is deep. It is so difficult to emerge from it..while the wound is still raw and new. There is no definition nor time frame for how long the time is right before it is considered an "old" wound either, i guess. That's a decision only the heart knows.
