Got a Song Stuck in My Head
I can’t escape this song.
I woke up with it on my mind the other day, found it on You Tube, watched it 20 times, downloaded it from I-Tunes, listened to it 32 more times, and committed it to memory.
I’ve got nothing profound to add to these lyrics, because the profoundness (profoundity? profound-like-qualities? profoundshakalaka?) far exceed anything I could ever dream of writing.
However, I will say, that I hope in Heaven, God makes me super hip and artsy-looking, like David Crowder. I admire those people who can spike up their hair, put on a pair of my Dad’s glasses from 1968 and a shirt from Goodwill and be the epitome of cool. I just look like a mom. A mom from sububurbia. How boring.
See? I shouldn’t have tried to be profound. I probably ruined the religious experience you are about to have when you listen to this song. So sorry.
By the way, I posted the accoustic version, because there is nothing in this world that beats the accoustic version of any song. Or as artsy people call it…the unplugged version.

It's not a religious song, but I have 2 In The Morning by NKOTB stuck in my head…I feel like it's a message from God telling me not to give up on our relationship. Which wasn't my intention, but I guess in a way I was kinda heading that way. *sigh* God sure has a way of gently nudging me when I need it. 🙂

Thanks for you post, I have God getting songs stuck in my head sometimes to answer questions I have, or to overcome difficulties.
Once, I was crying, and I heard a Kate Bush song start playing in my head, "Hey, there, you lady in tears! Do you think that they care if they're real, woman? They just take it as part of the deal, lost in your men and the games you play! Trying to prove that you're better, woman? Well, you needn't get heavy with them! Like it or not, we were built tough!"…
And, today, I had my first math class with a new teacher. I failed Algebra last semester, and felt hopeless. A song from Pokemon started playing in my head during class- "You can do it if you really try! Spread your wings and learn to fly! You can do it!".
And, also, today, I was wondering how my friend is feeling after what he said to me after his fiance cheated on him and he was angry at the world. He said he was sorry- I know he was sincere. And I began to hear that song, "I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired- I know, right now, you don't care. But, soon enough, baby, then you'll see, a different side of me. I'm not crazy- I'm just a little bit weird; I know, right now, you don't care. But soon enough, baby, then you'll see, how I used to be!". My friend changed a lot after his dad died, and after this incident of course, and I'm glad I will see his more gentle side later, and that he will be healed mentally and in his heart. Praise Jesus!
