  1. If you can find a few hours of the week alone, find a kettle bell training class. That's what I am doing right now and I love it.

P90x is pretty fun, although some of the exercises are apparently pretty entertaining and make certain children in my household laugh out loud at mommy 🙂

  3. Sandy, I hope people read on down the list because you get funnier and funnier as you go! This was great.

This summer I've been working out with a training group, which has been an absolute BLAST. This morning was our last morning with our "trainer" (who was a college student, but still great), but we're going to keep going together. Maybe you should get some friends together to do something like that.

See you NEXT WEEK!!!! (Can you tell I'm excited?!)

  5. I have done the Shred for 40 or more days now. I've lost count.
I do level 3 and modify the push-ups to the girly ones. At day 28 I also had to modify the cardio to low or no impact. Pregnancy #2 left me with a prolapsed bladder…so jumping is not so good.
The past few mornings I have put off the workout although I still get it done.
Planning to purchase the "power sculpting" dvd this weekend (a biggest loser dvd)
    Have you tried it?

  11. Can you elaborate more on point 21 – eating the right foods and the right time?

    Thank you,
    Cindy

  12. Can you elaborate more on point 21 – eating the right foods and the right time?

  13. Hi Cindy!!

    Sure, I can elaborate:

    When to eat:

Basically, you want to eat 4 to 6 small meals a day, every 3 to four hours.

Always eat breakfast (it jumpstarts your metabolism), and if you must eat at night, try not to eat too late and try not to eat carbs.

    What:

Eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protiens.

If you eat dairy, choose low fat or non fat.

If you eat meat, choose lean cuts. Stick mainly with fish, chicken and turkey. Eat red meat sparingly. I do not eat pork. But that's a personal choice.

    Drink tons of water.

Never eat fake food: artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, or highly processed foods.

When possible, buy "organic" or "all natural" as these will be free of artificial EVERYTHING.

Those are the basics. Let me know if you have questions.

    Blessings,
    Sandy
