  1. I can’t tell you how much I love the name of your blog and the whole PURPOSE behind it!! God speaks to us all the time, and we so often miss it because we don’t know how to just listen. I’ve found this to be so true in my own life. When I drop everything and ask him to speak to me–he ALWAYS does in one way or another! Sometimes it’s not what I expect to hear, sometimes it’s not even what I want to hear, but it’s always what I NEED to hear.

I agree with you that it’s exciting to follow him even when you don’t know where exactly he’s taking you!

  2. Sooo…. I was trying to figure out from #5 if you were less than enthused about the move. Not that it’s not a lot of work!

    But then I read #7.

And hope your kids don’t hear you say “this is the year of yes” just before they ask for the moon!

  3. I meant to type LOL after that last sentence – I assume you know that was intended to be funny, and not a criticism. But I know not to ever take anything for granted when I’m typing something!

  4. I’m praying for you and your experience at She Speaks… I’ve been twice (wish I was going this year) and God has done AMAZING things with me there!!!!

I am all ears for the opportunity to hear more on the sequal to the storms, but know it will come in God’s timing.

    Enjoy your summer!!!

    You are a blessing!!!

  5. I was so excited when I saw the title of your post. That is exactly the question I am asking the Lord in my Life right now!! I was hoping that was the title of the new series. I can use all the help I can get trying to figure out what God is doing in our families life right now! Also, I wanted you to know that “The Storm” series is why I started reading your blog. Thanks for reminding me that not knowing where God is leading can be looked at as an adventure and not as scary uncertainty.

  6. “year of the yes”..I like that..this is a post of hope..thank you for that ‘looking forward…’
    Blessings,
    Sita

  7. Blessings to you, Sandy, as you head into the “best summer ever”!

No matter what you write about – I always enjoy it and grow 🙂 I’m excited to see what God has in store for you and your blog!

    Enjoy your week, friend!

    Sweet Hugs,
    Kate 🙂

  8. Girl can I just say that I don’t know how you do it all!

I have been praying for the last 2 weeks for God to speak to me. Are we going to sell our house? Or should we stay where we are? Are we in way over our heads? Or will He provide?

I feel like his first answer came when we were able to get our house ready to sell in a weekends time.

Then just last week I got a phone call from one of the companies I work for from my home. They were letting me go because things were just getting too bad for them, so I was the first thing to cut. I was devastated. Then – I kid you not – not even an hour later I received a phone call from an old boss that wants me to start working for him (from home) in about 2 weeks. I hung up the phone and just said, “I hear you God – thank you!”

I’m still being pretty impatient about the house thing. I keep praying for patience in this whole thing. I am one to want to know what my very next step is and have everything all planned out. The “unknown” is beyond stressful for me. I keep telling God that I’m turning it all over to Him… but am I???

I pray that this is the “best summer ever” for you and your family. Enjoy your time at the beach! I look forward to what ever it is you have planned next!

  9. Hey if you are serious about the horse thing, Adam’s sister in law shows horses and is very involved in horse shows all over the US-not that Kentucky has a shortage 🙂 if you need any help. Good luck and I am excited to see what comes next!

  11. It’s Jean (JAX/TEX)!
I too was hoping this was your next series! I’m finding myself being required to just put one foot in front of the other without knowing what the future holds…scary for those of us who like to be in control!!
Maybe you stumbled upon your next topic, eh?

  12. How about a series on that verse that talks about walking by faith, not by sight?

And I will totally come visit you if you get horses! Well, I will come visit you someday anyway, but the horses would be icing 🙂

Anything you write on will be awesome. Have fun on your vacay!

    Love you,
    Lindsey
