Ep 104: “Help Me Declutter My Stuff!”
The first rule of home organization: Do not organize your clutter!
Before you can organize your home, you need to purge it of things you don’t love, don’t use, and don’t have space to store. In this episode, I take you through a simple decluttering process and give you 10 questions to ask yourself as you’re sorting to decide what to keep.
10 Questions:
Do I love this?
Do I use this?
Do I have room for this?
Do I really need multiple versions of this?
Do I feel beautiful in this?
Is it comfortable?
Do I want to keep cleaning this/maintaining this/storing this?
Am I keeping this out of sheer obligation?
If I didn’t have this now, would I buy it?
Is it available online?
