  1. Good Word my friend. I agree that we’ve thrown out the baby with the bath water on this subject. I’ve found that I learn so much more by listening than talking!
P.S. I don’t think I ever thanked you for the book. Sorry – THANK YOU! Good book.

  2. “It involves emptying your mind of all wrong thinking and instead dwelling on God’s promises and attributes, for the purpose of transforming your mind into the mind of Christ.”

I’m definitely in a place right now where I’m learning to get rid of wrong thinking. So what really hit me was the part of dwelling on God’s promises and attributes because I’ve struggled to know where to start when it comes to getting back into the Word of God.

To be honest… I’m more scared of the solitude part than the meditation, but I still look forward to next week. Growing is good, right?

  3. Excellent insight, Sandy!

This post really makes me think! I’m looking forward to your thoughts on solitude!

Keep it up, friend! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

    Many blessings,
    Kate 🙂

  4. God has a funny way of isolating me when He really wants me to hear him. Works every time…and that meditation time in solitude is such sweet and precious time with my Father. Instead of filling everyone’s cups in my world, He is filling mine. Great post!
