Ep 88: 5 Things to Remember As You Step Into a New Opportunity
Welcome to Season 6! If you are one of the many women I know who are crossing over into unchartered territory–a new job, a new baby, a new opportunity–or maybe you are beginning a new life after the death of a spouse, a child, or a marriage…I have a special word of encouragement for you.
Be sure to listen to the end for a special message and prayer for those needing a fresh start.
I Chronicles 22
King David handed over the throne to his son Solomon. Here are five things he told him at this critical moment:
1. Pray for insight and understanding.
2. When you obey God’s Word, He causes you to succeed.
3. Don’t be afraid.
4. Begin the work.
5. Determine in your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.
Bonus Point: Remember God specializes in fresh starts, clean slates, and do-overs. If you are carrying a load of guilt and shame over past decisions, turn back to God. He will redeem everything you’ve lost. He will bless your children and their children, to a thousand generations.
Pray Psalm 51–David’s prayer of repentance.
