Jon and I have been married for close to 30 years.
One of my dear friends used to say, “Marriage is not a union, it’s a COLLISION!”
And that about sums it up for our honeymoon years. But after the initial collision has taken place and you have a few difficulties under your belt, marriage becomes this rich, complicated, intimate friendship. It’s quite amazing, actually.
