  1. I'm so glad to participate in your Fitness Friday post. I checked out the calculator; great tool! I so agree with you about weights. I know as I get older, I lose muscle. So adding the weights increases my metabolic rate and also helps with any flabbiness. I hate any upper arm jingling, if you know what I mean. Or maybe you're too young? LOL.

    And most of all, I do believe as a Christian, that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit so I want to take care of it so I can be about the work He's called me to do.

    I look forward to next Friday, friend. 🙂

  5. I came over from Debbie's, too!! I did the BMI, and I found it pretty interesting. I bookmarked this so I can back and see where I am as my weight decreases.

    I was surprised at the amount of calories I need to consume to maintain my weight.

    I think keeping a food diary is an excellent idea!! How many times a day do we pop something into our mouths without even thinking about it? A couple of crackers here and there–they add up!!
