Ep 16: Questions to Ask Yourself When You’re Feeling Off (Part 1)
Depression affects 300,000,000 people and is the leading cause of disability worldwide. If you are a woman, you are twice as likely to suffer from depression than a man.
These statistics are staggering.
The good news is depression is entirely treatable and almost always preventable…especially when we learn to recognize our depression triggers.
Somewhere between “overwhelm” (Episode 15) and clinical depression is a middle place I’ll call “feeling off” or “being in a funk.” A time where I feel more tired and more irritable than usual. This is where I have a window of time–a few days–to recognize that I’m slipping into a pit. Here I can address the underlying issue before it causes me to fall all the way in the pit of depression.
Today I’m giving you the first 6 questions I ask myself when I’m not feeling like myself.
Next week I’ll give you the remaining 7.
